"608, We Have a Face Off!"

Yup. They're still winning. Madison's youngest networking brand has proven to be prompt in their planning and serious about uncovering ways to introduce creatives to creations. Owned and operated by a young, fly, and familiar face to BLACK Madison. Ashley aka "The Elegant Connect" (owner of Creative Connections Events) is determined to achieve every goal she's set for herself. The unique characteristic about Ashley is her commitment to completion. The ability to see things through and continue to follow her rules to success is a commendable feat that she wears well.

#ReWind - real quick | Let's revisit C.C.E. April event at The Brink Lounge. Themed with Gold and White attire, the Roses & Rosé networking event was intended to introduce Madison's up and coming shot-callers to one another to produce ideas cooperatively while celebrating themselves. Everyone was encouraged to celebrate wins, lessons learned, and inevitable growth with Madison’s dopiest entrepreneurs! There was a semi-formal dress code of white and gold to make everyone feel and look like the Kings and Queens we already are. You know we Over-Stood the assignment! The photography for this event was led by our photography head and CEO Akiya K.I.L.O Alexander of LessWork Lens. An event of such class and potential will always demand my presence and I had an exciting time I must say. Once inside we strolled down the red carpet to a paparazzi pose and picture moment. The Brink Lounge in collaboration with C.C.E. offered an open bar which was nice touch.

Creative Connections Events slogan is "Party w/ a Purpose", this is high-level networking mix w/ a hip hop playlist type of vibe. What was super different was the fact that there was a live painter putting this crazy piece together throughout the entire event. She dedicated her time in honor of her collaboration with C.C.E. raffle session. Who is this painter and what is her story? Brooklyn Doby is a Madison, WI native. She is a recent art therapy graduate exploring and navigating her artistic journey. Brooklyn is freshly known for her mural work around Madison, advocating for the Black Lives Matter movement. She is a creative that is passionate about producing art that promotes self-expression, provokes stimulating conversations, and uplifts communities. She believes the most impactful component of art is that it can be shared - both the product and the process.

Everyone on the guest list was met with a white Rose and a glass of Rose'. This was a nice touch to let guests know they are welcome and appreciated. MCT Visions were on site capturing the festivities live. All that I have shared about C.C.E. last event, it's natural for you to wonder when is their next joint. Let's look at what's on the agenda. As always, the event is well spaced out for proper promotion to build an engrained awareness. Ashley has that part of her process down without question. Remaining true to her networking commitment, The Elegant Connect is preparing to host Madison's 1st cosmetology and clothing pop-up networking event. The twist here is make-up artists will be slaying faces live throughout the event accompanied by the hottest local clothing brands around. We Say, Easy Wins.
