Stephanie "Queen P" Prewitt is the owner and CEO of Queen P's Throne. A custom jewelry collection of afrocentric expressions. All items are handcrafted and hand painted.
I'm Stephanie Prewitt, better known as Queen P. I love creating unique earrings. I am based in Madison, Wisconsin with strong Detroit roots. I am no fashionista, but I love stylish earrings that make strong statements. I started "Queen P's Throne" after working with distributers last year (2020). That sparked a passion inside of me that I didn't know was there. So now I design laser-cut earrings and hand paint them myself.
A note from the Queen:
Please be aware that all of my earrings are made to order. We believe in the power and importance of expression. Whether you're an introvert or an extrovert. Let your handmade accessories make the statement! Stephanie has found her niche as a cultural provider of DOPENESS. Offering natural earrings created specifically with black women in mind.
I would consider myself to be a friend of Stephanie's, with a closer friendship to her husband Dee Pru. *Let me get off topic a bit. Stephanie and her family are like the Obamas of the hood. Minus the fact Dee and Stephanie have 1 daughter (flower) and 1 son (sun). Together, they are the perfect amount of flow to raise the next generation of black excellence from a reality and accessible standpoint. Okay, where were we?
If you love the products and services from Queen P's Throne, it's not because she's great a selling (good product sells itself). It is because her positive energy is a source rooted from her family's foundation. Which is then transferred from her handcrafted pieces onto the bodies of her shoppers.
Here is exactly what some of Queen P's supporters had to say about their purchase.
See, it's not what Queen P has say about her business that encourages others to trust that her products serve a purpose of satisfaction. You see, it's US. Think about it like this, I.O.U. because It's On US to peep the game and adjust. We are great at following America's traditional approach to supporting name brand products and companies. We speak that support black business chant but we always find ways to tear them down from the inside of US. We as black people are the body and sound of all black entrepreneurs just from being black. It's that automatic, as black people it's how we hold each other up out loud and in-house. Ready to see what the hype is all about? Start here
In light of UJAMAA and their #Under1Roof campaign. We asked Stephanie to name 1 Black Owned Business UJAMAA should connect with if they haven't already?

Because of supporters like you, another world is possible. There are many battles to be won, but when we win them together with #LessWork, literally.
