Over the years 1neofmani has positioned himself and LessWork as a resource to local artists that rap. This isn't a bad thing but fans and supporters are beginning to question if the Love Is Love artist 1st priority is still his own music career?
Releasing Love Is Love back in February with intentions of giving his supporters a solid body of work. 1neofmani goals at the top of this year was to record music every week and release a song every month to officially release 1ne of 1ne at the end of the year. Keep reading because this one is interesting.
1neofmani was uploading live footage via his insta and "fakebook" stories, of his studio sessions up until September. It's never been a question if the music 1ne creates was good enough to sustain their releases. Everyone just wants 1neofmani to release his music as much as he continues to release his #LessWork apparel. On October 19th a record titled "Real Nigga" featuring 1neofmani surfaced on the internet. A song by Nidre Ni, who happens to be 1neofmani's homegirl and fellow Peoria, Illinois based artist. Nidre held her own on the track and 1neofmani did not disappoint for the real 1nes.
The "Target" artist opens her verse with big confidence in her lines as she spits "Wasn't looking for em but he came and found me/ single parent but he couldn't doubt me/ independent so the money don't arouse me/ real suttle what most love about me/. Nidre's verse was the perfect alley-hoop for 1ne to catch with two hands and put it down. Slick talking with the best of them he raps: Ouu gifted who is your manager/ diamond and damages/ all yo lil innocence/ you protect it but I aint'cho enemy/
I'm the balance aligning yo energy/
when you missing me mention me instantly/.
As talented as 1ne is, at times the LWL leader spreads himself around too much to our comfort. Although he has pure intentions but his rate of completion suffers due to his perfectionist-like ways. Extending himself to local organizations, social media hosting, and other opportunities outside of music leaving his musical supporters to question his commitment to the art form.
Every time we feel like 1ne has gone rouge on his music plans he resurfaces with either a live show, behind the scenes footage, or a video release. This time he's given us all of the above and some'mo. All set to hit the stage at "Dj M. White" pre-weekend launch party event called "LOVEzone lll: Sip N Paint" which is 1 of 4 days the DJ will be hosting launch party events in celebration of opening up his pop-up shop located at 444 State street in Madison, WI. Catch 1ne live on stage this Thursday, October 28, at The Bur Oak located at 2262 Winnebago St, Madison, WI 53704 from 6pm to 11pm. Skrr Skuurr, Up you PULL.
Not once but 1neofmani will be blessing the stage twice at the Paint & Sip R&B Night with both Nidre Ni to perform their collab "Real Nigga" and with the songstress Ms. Soultry Shibon to preform their unreleased record titled: "Black Love." See what we mean? Just when we thought 1ne was settling for a quiet year, he lands himself on the bill of a ladies night event. Like how? It's ladies night 1ne. How'd you pull that off? $/0 the ladies and the DJ.
Performing two separate times premiering songs he recorded with two different artists from two different cities. We knew 1neofmani was working but this is almost like he's been chosen by his peers to come forward and do his shit out loud.
Our inside sources confirmed 1neofmani will be pushing his solo mixtape 1ne of 1ne back until 2022. With 2 months remaining in 2021, this comes as a complete shocker. 1ne had possible intentions on this project being his 1st and only body of work he may release. Still, 1ne plans to make good on his goal of releasing a project this year. Safe to say the name will be changed. 1neofmani's plan is to combine the records he's recorded thus far and have a local promoter host it to build anticipation for the official release of 1ne of 1ne. If that's the plan then let's go! If you follow the moves of 1ne online then you've heard him leak records already. If those are the records, we don't give a fvck what he titles his body of work. We want that WORK! That #LessWork sound.
With the visual already recorded and locked in the vault. 1neofmani teamed back up with Moe Gwalla of D. Visuals to capture his latest music video for his record titled: WittUS. The intro carries a chant-like vibe almost like a singalong as he recites:

ain't no denying/
Real Nigga season/
they know the vibes
created a way/
Now they Paying for mine/
