What makes K.I.L.O. different is located inside her preparation. Like most women in general, she finds fortune in this process. The artist meditates daily and removes herself from the crowd, protecting her thoughts from becoming saturated in societal circles. Her approach to music is centered on her upbringing. Crediting her mother for instilling provoking questions to become clear on her reasons for doing something so idol worshipping like music. Remembering the words of her mother reminding her to "give the people jewels, stay true, and authentic." So far, this formula has been tried and assessed. No since in switching up.

Keeping her word to do just that. KILO is always giving people wisdom and knowledge on and off the stage. Her basketball background allows her to sit comfortably in her role as a teammate and a resource to many within and outside of her musical obligations. As a businessperson she's learned that it's all about building relationships with longevity at the center of the reasoning behind her approach to connecting. There are multiple tools and moving pieces operating K.I.L.O's engine. No artist can sustain their lifestyle from music alone, so she trusts her business partner 1neofmani to create outlets and relationships connected elevating her status as her music manager. 1neofmani is responsible for choosing the records, the producers, sourcing their LessWork apparel to brand the artist, and negotiating K.I.L.O's contracts because we all know the most overlooked piece in this lion's share of the music business is the artist/talent. K.I.L.O is using 1neofmani's We The Way process and promotion as the template to releasing "The 7's Reign" which will be her sophomore mixtape. Utilizing LessWork in-house producers 9 Got Hitz and THP for all beat selections. The entire project will be recorded w/ Marcus Porter of Oddly Arranged Media, whose office space is right down the hall from LessWork HQ. All video work will be captured by Alex "AG" Garcia of 608Music and Moe Gwalla of DVISUALS.

For the last three years K.I.L.O x 1ne have been taking meetings to lock-in exclusive partnerships with local music-based companies like Broadjam.com and Eleven Music Career Center. Allowing artists to experience high-level inclusion in membership access to Broadjam primo accounts to submit music to TV and Film. It is impossible to discuss K.I.L.O without covering her front-line involvement in artists' advocacy for access to venues and respectable compensation for all that goes into preparing for live shows. K.I.L.O attends weekly meetings hosted by MAMA every Friday on behalf of local rappers as their voice and resource. On June 1, K.I.L.O partnered with MAMA for the first time to host 1 of the many Hip Hop Nights the artist and organization plans to collaborate on with intentions to position Hip-Hop artists as assets to venues around the City of Madison. K.I.L.O. oversaw sourcing the talent to perform, creating the event flyer, and the social media event pages. Landing artists like Tweezy P, Dude Da Def, Marcus Porter, Meish, and special guest Poetic Ye. She booked Dj Sneaky Gator to control the vibes as she hosted her very 1st show. All performing artists received Free Broadjam primo accounts and waived registration fees to sign up for MAMA 2022 awards. Which LessWork Local Lifestyle offers as well packaged in our Monthly Members package. When artists sign up for our subscription service, they will receive not only free Broadjam accounts, but they will also receive a promo code for half off Eleven Music Career Center artists career coaching services.

As big as K.I.L.O.'s vision for herself and her brand is, she still finds time to elevate other artists along her journey. This is the way, not the wave of LessWork philosophy. Although her team and support system are gassed for her to continue raking in annual accolades. K.I.L.O. is a cocky artist but after winning Hip Hop Performer of the year 3-times in a row, she's a bit more relaxed about bringing home her fourth award. "If you've ever seen me perform you will see why I've received this award 3-times in a row." Currently, she is taking her time producing and releasing her sophomore mixtape. K.I.L.O has set her focus on being more intentional and methodical with her career. From her beat selections, artwork, and her overall approach to music. She is prepared to title her follow up mixtape: "The 7's Reign." If that's not dope in itself, just wait for her music from the project. Carlos, owner of M.O.D. (Masters of Design) Media Productions said, "K.I.L.O you are BIG for real. You make people feel things. You are saying something with a meaning you can tell. While recording your visual, I was paying attention and being focused on trying to get a good shot and you were still giving me goosebumps so, you got it." On or off the stage K.I.L.O presence is felt and that's why her team and supporters love and attach to her without effort. Howanda Barber aka Poo expressed her thoughts on K.I.L.O.'s single "New Religion" from her debut mixtape L.I.A.R. while in the studio as K.I.L.O. captured a live visual with the band Weapons of Mass Defunktion. "It's the New Religion you hear me! I say it's revolutionary. I ain't even got a chance to hear it and I can feel the vibration of it and I'm here for it!" In closing, K.I.L.O.'s adds, "Shout out to all the people who are nominated because that's the whole goal for me. Whoever wins, WE ALL WIN IN HIP-HOP straight up!
