MADISON --(Live Show)-- D'Funk and The Grease Monkeys announced last week three-time, Hip Hop Artists-winning performer K.I.L.O. aka SkitL'z, will headline their next residency performance along with Xander Anim

Once I am off the stage, I get to experience heartfelt love from my fan-mily (fans and family) and to be able to close out the year with a special live D'Funk and the Grease Monkeys performance for my fans in the Madison area is truly incredible,” said K.I.L.O.

On Friday, November 11, 2022, doors open at 9:00 PM - show begins at 10pm CT w/ a cover of $10. D'Funk & the Grease Monkeys w/ K.I.L.O. aka SkitL'z & Xander Anim will take place in front of a live audience and streamed live on LessWork facebook page. Grease Monkeys have a monthly residency at Robina Courtyard where they extend monthly music experiences to fellow artists for fans to enjoy one-of-a-kind blended performances in Madison. This month they are highlighting K.I.L.O's fan favorites and new songs from her upcoming project titled: The 7 R.E.I.G.N.S. We're real hyped to bring you this one 🙈🙉🙊. More than a performing artist, K.I.L.O will also have on her photographer hat as the diverse artist will also set up her photo booth inside the venue for fans and supporters to capture their experience with LessWork Lens instant print photo booth. Photos are just $10 or free with the purchase of any LessWork Lifestyle (K.I.L.O.'s brand) music or merchandise. All proceeds from K.I.L.O.'s merch table will benefit LessWork Local Lifestyle campaign to purchase our very own building to service our fellow local artists and the businesses that we complement.

More About K.I.L.O aka SkitL'z: a local hip-hop artist, located in Madison, WI. As a black womyn in the gay community, her past has helped shape her. Kilo fell in love with R&B and Soul at a young age and found hip-hop through Kriss Kross, Mc Lyte, Lauryn Hill, Eve, and Queen Latifah. She has made waves in Madison’s hip-hop scene and won Female Artist of the Year at the 2016 Madison Hip-Hop Music Awards and Hip Hop Performer of the Year at the 2019, 2020 and 2021 MAMA Awards.


is an acoustic singer/songwriter steeped in the world of R&B, Hip Hop and Neo-Soul, a former spoken word poet turned musician with a sultry sound and a knack for lyricism and artistry. Yet Xander Anim is not exactly who you think he is. His influences include Metallica, Erykah Badu, Childish Gambino and the unceasing rhythm of the moon and stars.


is a six-piece hip-hop group from Madison WI. Rapper D’Funk brings honest lyrics and smooth, in-the-pocket delivery, over deep grooves, lush arrangements, ripping solos, and dynamic vocals from the band. The Grease Monkeys have crafted a unique sound, reimagining the world of jazz/hip-hop fusion and captivating young audiences around the Midwest with their ability and energy.

K.I.L.O.'s team is pushing for the artist to become the face of "Madison Rap." The multiple-decorated artist is piling up local leverage year over year winning back-to-back-to-back Hip Hop Performer of the Year Awards at Madison Area Music Awards. K.I.L.O was also nominated again in 2022 and the winner will be announced this Sunday November 13, 2022, at 6pm at the MAMA Awards. The entire event will be streamed live for all to engage and enjoy. The goal is to create financial partnerships with local businesses to introduce unique ways to create diverse approaches of artists and community engagements.
